QR code with its name is not known well. Only 39% recognize it.
Once the images are shown, 60% recognize QR code clearly and the number goes up to 82% including those who have heard about it.
In terms of usage, no more than 14% use QR code regularly and 37% have used QR code before.
The usage is more for the social media. Zalo is used as No.1 tool where the QR codes are used. Mobile payment is not that highly penetrated.
HCM people and the youth are more familiar with using QR code. This is mainly due to their higher usage of code in adding friends in social network.
Those who use later OS (phone) tend to be more familiar with QR code usage.
